CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — Two people are dead after a shooting on Friday at an assisted living facility in Citrus Springs, according to the sheriff's office.
Detectives said they learned through a preliminary investigation that a man shot a woman before turning the gun on himself.
Law enforcement believes the incident is domestic in nature and there is no threat to the community.
The investigation into this deadly shooting is ongoing.
