SPRING HILL, Fla. — Two people are in the hospital after a shooting Saturday afternoon in Spring Hill, the Hernando County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.
The shooting was first reported around 4 p.m. in the area of Holiday Drive and Newhope Road, according to the agency. Both people involved in the shooting were reportedly taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff's office said no other suspects are involved and there is no threat to the public. A portion of Holiday Drive will remain closed as deputies continue to investigate the shooting, the agency said.
