It’s billed as a place to find “all things manly”, but organizers say the Man Xpo at the Lakeland Center on Saturday, June 25 will be filled with family fun.
“We’re really happy about the Man Xpo,” says Kevin Drake, Publisher of The Ledger Media Group. “Although it is for men, it is also a family event—so we’ll have tons of things for the entire family.”
The Xpo with more than 50 vendors includes a golf simulator, hunting demonstrations, lawnmower races, and live music. A rock climbing wall and a catfish fishing pond will keep the kids busy.
Special guests at the Xpo are Capt. Johnathan Hillstrand of “Deadliest Catch,” David Blanton of “Realtree Outdoors’’ and turkey calling champion Scott Ellis of Mulberry.
The Xpo runs from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 for the man and the rest of the family gets in for free.
“Where else can you go in Florida for the entire day for $5?" asks Drake. “The entire event is inside The Lakeland Center -- and it's air conditioned.”
