Tampa, FL - A 9-week-old panther is thriving at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo after being abandoned. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission found him near death at just 1-week-old.
He weighed just 2.8 pounds upon arrival at the Zoo, and is now more than 10 pounds.
He will soon transition to his permanent home at the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park.
