Florida Realtors releases housing prices for January

The median sales price for a house in the immediate Tampa Bay area was just under the statewide median.

TAMPA, Fla. — The industry group Florida Realtors last week released a report showing the statewide median sales price for single-family existing homes in January was $405,000. 

Here are median prices in the state’s metropolitan statistical areas:

— Naples-Immokalee-Marco Island: $845,000

— Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach: $605,000

— North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton: $530,000

— Port St. Lucie: $422,000

— Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford: $420,000

— Cape Coral-Fort Myers: $405,000

— Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater: $400,000

— Crestview-Fort Walton Beach-Destin: $399,800

— Sebastian-Vero Beach: $384,000

— Jacksonville: $379,900

— Palm Bay-Melbourne-Titusville: $367,745

— Punta Gorda: $363,990

— Gainesville: $357,450

— Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach: $354,000

— The Villages: $349,000

— Panama City: $344,000

— Lakeland-Winter Haven: $330,990

— Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent: $316,950

— Tallahassee: $295,375

— Homosassa Springs: $288,750
