Bug Juice recalls children's drinks

The products recalled were bottles or cases marked with a case code that ends with a "C" and bottle code ending in "OBC."  

Bug Juice International, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall for its popular children's drinks.

Bug Juice is being recalled due to process deviations that may have resulted in contamination by plastic or metal shavings, which could be harmful if consumed. No illnesses associated with the products have been reported.
46,406 cases are included in the recall. They were produced in February and distributed nationally.

The possible contamination occurred due to process deviations at a co-pack facility not owned or operated by Bug Juice.

Consumers who have the drinks are asked to throw them away. Consumers who have questions should contact Bug Juice at 810-225-3200 between the hours of 8am-4pm.
