LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. — Trader Joe's is set to open a new location in the Tampa Bay area this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Starting from Thursday, Oct. 26, customers will be able to shop at the new Lakewood Ranch store, located at 8111 Cooper Creek Blvd. in Bradenton. Doors are set to open at 8 a.m. following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Workers will be on-site to welcome customers in person to their new neighborhood store along with product samples and bag giveaways, a news release from the company explains.
The new store found in the University Town Center Mall, close to Interstate 75 and University Parkway, will span across 12,000 square feet.
From 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., shoppers will be able to pick up their favorite food staples and snacks any day of the week.
"[The store's] interior artwork will highlight neighboring parks and schools, wildlife and local activities," company leaders explain in the release.
And for anyone searching for a job in the area, hiring efforts are still underway for the new store location. Click here to apply for open positions.
Through the company's Neighborhood Shares Program, the new Lakewood Ranch location will reportedly donate 100 percent of products that aren't sold but in good quality to a list of nonprofit, community-based organizations.
