TAMPA, Fla. — Ovme (pronounced “of me”) Tampa is now open. It is the 28th location nationwide for the boutique beauty franchise launched by CEO and founder Dr. Mark McKenna. The Atlanta-based med spa prides itself on its highly trained medical staff who offer therapies to help people look and feel their best.

Guests are given data on sun damage, pores and wrinkles along with an action plan for preventive aging and skin repair.

It’s not just for women. According to a Mindbody Study, demand for services is also high for men. It highlights an often-underrepresented demographic known as “millennial men.” On average, men need more units of Botox than women because of their greater muscle mass.

With Med Spas everywhere in Tampa Bay, the industry shows no signs of slowing down. CBS News reports the med spa market was valued at $16.4 billion last year with an expected growth rate of 15% by 2030. Esthetician Claudia Campillo says, “more people want to look good and feel good.”

Services include Botox, Dysport, fillers, chemical peels, hydra facial, laser hair removal, micro-needling, hydration and hormone therapy, cool sculpting and more.

Ovme Tampa plans to host its official grand opening in early November. It is located at the corner of Bay to Bay Blvd. and Esperanza Ave at 3120 W. Bay to Bay Blvd.
