CLERMONT, Fla. — It's a new challenge for a local family that lives full-time in an RV. We've been following the Bethune family since they started their RV adventure back in 2020.
They've been all across the country, traveling in what they lovingly call Blue Betty. Jenn, Kyle, three kids and three dogs all live in just one RV. We caught up with them recently when they were staying near Orlando.
They tell us their most recent adventure took the family to Tennessee for the "Pigeon Forge Family Challenge." They competed against five other families in fun events, including dancing on stage. Kyle says that was a real challenge for him.
"The very first episode was a dance-off and, transparency...I've never danced in my life. Not one time. And I have to jump on stage and learn this dance routine in 30 minutes. It was a lot, but walking away from that experience was a life-changing experience for me," Kyle Bethune said.
"I learned things I never thought I would learn and did things I never thought I would do."
The Bethunes say it was great for them to work together as a family on all the challenges. Jenn says they all kept a great attitude, worked hard and managed to get through the events without yelling at or critiquing each other.
You can watch the show on YouTube for free. There are several episodes out, and new ones are released each Tuesday.
