VENICE, Fla. — Publix announced a recall of a select batch of ground beef products produced at a store in the Jacaranda Commons Shopping Center in Venice.
The announcement was made Tuesday, June 18. The recall results from "the potential of a foreign material in the product," Publix officials said in an online release.
The following products with sell-by dates should be thrown away or returned to the store for a refund, according to officials.

Officials said no other Publix stores are affected by this recall.
“As part of our commitment to food safety, potentially impacted product has been removed from the store shelves,” said Maria Brous, Publix Director of Communications.
