Publix reveals limited-time ice cream flavors, ice cream truck locations

Publix rolled out their new limited-time flavors that will be in stores until the end of August.

TAMPA, Fla. — As the temperature heats up, you can cool down with one of the eight limited-edition Publix ice cream flavors this summer.

The grocery store chain announced its seasonal flavors and shared that its ice cream truck will be hitting the road this summer, which is stopping at a few locations in Tampa Bay.

Customers can find these flavors now through Aug. 30:

  • Chocolate Cookie Quarry: Chocolate ice cream with chocolate cookie crumb swirls and chunks of flavored chocolate sandwich cookies

  • Cold Brew Cookies and Creme: Cold brew coffee-flavored ice cream with creme-filled chocolate cookie pieces

  • Lemon Berry Bliss: Lemon creme-flavored ice cream with lemonade-flavored flakes and blueberry swirls

  • Marry Me Strawberry: Strawberry flavored ice cream with strawberry sauce and white chocolate strawberry pecan bark

  • Coffee Almond Fudge: Coffee ice cream with chocolate coffee ribbon and milk chocolate-coated almonds

  • Caramel Turtle Cheesecake: Cheesecake flavored ice cream with sea salt caramel and milk chocolate caramel turtles and pecans

  • Hula Hula Macadamia: Whipped cream flavored ice cream with caramel and macadamia brittle

  • Buckeyes and Fudge: Peanut butter ice cream with chocolate-covered peanut butter buckeye candies and swirls of fudge

The Chocolate Cookie Quarry flavor is making a comeback this summer after Publix associates voted for it through a poll. 

The Publix ice cream truck will be stopping at 10 cities across the Southeast with the majority being in Florida. Here’s where the truck will be in the Tampa Bay area:

  • Lakeland: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 29 at Common Ground Park

  • Tampa: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 30 at Sparkman Wharf

  • St. Pete: 4-10 p.m. July 4 at St. Pete Pier

The truck will promote the new flavors and have games, music and a photo booth. The flavors will be available in stores in a half-gallon size.
