CLEARWATER, Fla. — Clearwater residents will soon have another food option landing in the city — a brand-new Jersey Mike's location.
On Wednesday, May 8, a Jersey Mike's Subs will open on Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater. Currently, there are two other locations of the fast-food sandwich chain in Clearwater, located on McMullen Booth Road and Roosevelt Boulevard.
This newest location will be near Costco, Home Depot, Publix, Sam's Club, Best Buy and Raising Cane's.
Starting opening day through Sunday, May 12, the Gulf to Bay Boulevard location will also fundraise for Clearwater High School, according to a release.
If you're in the area, you might have gotten a special fundraising coupon that provides customers with a regular sub after they make a minimum $2 donation to Clearwater High School. The release said the coupons are being given out via a "grassroots effort" before the new restaurant location opens. In order to get the special deal, customers must have a coupon with them.
And it's not just a Jersey Mike's Subs that is coming to Gulf to Bay Boulevard. According to a release from SRS Real Estate Partners, two other businesses are slated to occupy the small strip. In addition to Jersey Mike's, My Eye Dr. and MD Now Urgent Care reside there and reportedly have "long-term leases" at the property. Both My Eye Dr. and MD Now Urgent Care on Gulf to Bay Boulevard are already open and operating.
