ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—Here’s the scoop on how a few of the world’s greatest things are making their way to downtown St. Petersburg.
Beans and Barlour is a new coffee bar and dessert lounge that combines ice cream and alcohol to create ice cream cocktails, craft coffees and more.
The dessert lounge will have craft beer and other booze-infused ice cream flavors.
Owner Story Stuart said she saw the opportunity to bring something new to the thriving downtown food scene.
“We wanted to make something really special,” said Stuart.
Stuart said Beans and Barlour would be a place for everyone.
Their menu consists of ice cream cocktails and craft coffee, but the company will be teaming up with neighbor St. Pete Brewing Company to launch its full menu.
Story said she wanted this to be a place for everybody.
“If you don’t want to drink, we have coffees, it’s important to have a coffee place for night times too,” said Story.
Beans and Barlour is set to open in early July. Their hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weeknights and 8:30 a.m. to midnight on weekends.
