TAMPA, Fla. — The start of 2024 represents a time of renewal for so many people: new opportunities, new personal growth, new goals and a new outlook.
For some Tampa Bay residents, the year began with something extra special: a newborn baby.
On New Year's Day, hospitals in the Tampa Bay area welcomed the babies brought into the world during the first moments of 2024.
Here are a handful of those shared with 10 Tampa Bay:
"AdventHealth Tampa team members have joyfully welcomed the arrival of their first baby of the New Year! Enyeling Nodarse, a girl, was born at 3:25 AM on January 1, 2024, weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
"The proud parents, Leyling Nodarese, mom, and Erlan Nelson, dad, also celebrated the birth of their bundle of joy, marking a beautiful beginning to 2024."
"AdventHealth Wesley Chapel happily announces the arrival of the first baby born in the hospital in the new year, Jesse Oduro-Boamah. Born at 1:54 AM on January 1, 2024, Baby Jesse weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 21 inches in length."
"This precious baby boy is a gift from God," Jennifer Aduako, the baby's mother, said. "We remembered from the scriptures that 'Jesse' represents God's gift to us and the beginning of great things to come for us this year."
