Scavenger hunt allows local beaches to be explored

The scavenger hunt is several hours of fun with 15 different stops between Pass-a-Grill and the John's Pass Boardwalk.

ST PETE BEACH, Fla. — Spring has sprung and students all over the Tampa Bay area are on spring break. If families are looking for something to keep students entertained, they can check out the "Living la vida Local" Scavenger Hunt

The scavenger hunt is several hours of fun with 15 different stops between Pass-a-Grill and the John's Pass Boardwalk.

To figure out the stop, families have to solve the clue delivered to them on the scavenger hunt app.

Don't worry, they're not too hard.

Once people figure out the clue, they need to snap a picture of what they found and upload it to the app. After they upload the photo they can move on to the next clue.

"We give them little prizes, but you're not really competing as much as you're trying to check out the beach and explore," said Sam Cibrone, with Beachfront Buggies and Scooters. "We want it to be fun, not super competitive."

That means people don't have to feel rushed. They are encouraged to hang out and explore the beaches.

The scavenger hunt is hosted by Beachfront Buggies and Scooters.
