MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — In a "stinky situation," A Manatee County Sheriff's deputy saved a skunk that had its head trapped on Thursday.
Deputy Fiore spotted the skunk with its head inside a plastic bottle near the department's training center, according to a Facebook post from the Sheriff's office.
With a little assistance and bolt cutters, the deputy freed the animal, and "he lived to smell another day."
