TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Bay-area businesses and services are making several closures ahead of potential impacts from Hurricane Milton.
The storm is continuing its track toward Florida's Gulf Coast. Florida could see impacts beginning Tuesday evening into Wednesday.
Here's a running list of closures throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Hernando County
County parks, offices, recreation centers
The City of Brooksville is closing its government facilities starting Tuesday through Wednesday including city government offices and parks.
Hillsborough County closures
County parks, preserves and recreation centers
All Hillsborough County parks, preserves, recreation centers and boat ramps closed Monday to allow staff to focus on the emergency response to Hurricane Milton.
All county offices and facilities will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday also.
The tax collector's office closes at noon Monday and will be closed until Thursday.
Election offices are closed Tuesday and Wednesday and will potentially be closed Thursday and Friday.
Trash, recycling and yard waste pickup
Hillsborough County Emergency operations announced it is suspending trash, recycling and yard waste operations for Tuesday. Officials anticipate services to resume on Friday.
Residents are asked not to place any debris until after the storm passes.
The Florida Aquarium
The aquarium will be closed from Tuesday through Thursday and is planning to reopen Friday morning, according to an X post.
ZooTampa at Lowry Park
The zoo will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday. Staff are preparing to ensure the security of the animals by moving larger animals into their night houses and smaller birds into safer buildings.
Staff are also securing loose items, stocking up on animal diets and other activities, according to a news release.
Tampa Bay Lightning game
The Bolts canceled their game against the Nashville Predators on Monday.
Hillsborough Transit Authority
On Tuesday, HART buses will operate on the Emergency Service Schedule
Tampa International Airport (TPA)
Tampa International Airport will suspend all commercial and cargo flights starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday. It will remain closed to the public until it can assess damage after.
Other airports managed by the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority — Peter O. Knight, Tampa Executive and Plant City Airports — will also close.
Parking garages at the airport will also be closed and officials are warning travelers that the airport is not a shelter and is in evacuation zone A.

Busch Gardens
Officials with Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announced the theme park is closing Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
"Our weather preparedness plan is in place and extra precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of our animals during this time," Busch Garden officials said in a statement.
Pasco County closures
Department of Health
Offices in the county will be closed on Tuesday until further notice.
Pinellas County closures
County parks, offices, recreation centers
St. Petersburg closed all city facilities Monday through Wednesday.
Clearwater also closed city offices, buildings, recreation centers and libraries on Monday.
Pinellas Park's city facilities are closed starting Tuesday until further notice.
Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority
PSTA services will not be running on Wednesday, and the administrative office will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
After 2 p.m. Tuesday, PSTA will run specific evacuation services at the direction of county officials.
Department of Health
Offices in the county will be closed on Monday until further notice.
St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE)
The St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport will close after the last flight on Tuesday.
The airport will remain closed Wednesday and Thursday. Officials said all Allegiant flights were canceled for Wednesday and Thursday and encouraged travelers to contact airlines directly for information about cancellations and when flights will resume.
The Dalí Museum
The museum is closed Monday through Wednesday, according to an X post.
Sarasota County closures
Breeze Transit's fixed route, OnDemand and Siesta Key Trolley services will be closed Tuesday.
All Breeze Transit services will be closed Wednesday.
Gatorland
Outside, but near the Tampa Bay area, Gatorland announced it is closing the park on Wednesday and Thursday for the safety of animals, guests and employees.
