TOWN 'N' COUNTRY, Fla. โ Deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office made an adorable and "purr"-fect rescue on Sunday while out and about in Town 'n' Country.
A Facebook post from the sheriff's office explains two deputies ran into a resident who told them they found a tiny kitten trapped in a storm drain.
This led them to work together to get the heavy storm drain open and coax the scared fur baby out to safety.
"The deputies, embodying compassion, didn't stop there, cleaning up the kitten that was covered with dirt and grime from the storm drain," the agency wrote in the post.
The community flooded the comment section on the Facebook post sending their thanks to the deputies who rescued the little kitten.
"Awwwww thanks for saving that sweet baby! I hope he or she is gonna have a great forever home!" a comment left on the post read.
