ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A determined dolphin wasn't about to let a fish escape in shallow water.
It looked like a game of cat-and-mouse as the bottlenose dolphin sliced through the waters of Tampa Bay this week, speeding after its prey.
The fish, a crevalle jack, didn't stand a chance. At times, you can see the dolphin swim sideways to prevent its meal from getting away.
During the intense pursuit, two roughtail stingrays are startled and pop up from their sandy hiding spots.
