Lakeland senior living facility asks for letters for their seniors

Lake Gibson Village is inviting students, scouts and anyone who can write to become pen pals with their seniors.

LAKELAND, Fla. — Senior living facilities have had some of the highest numbers of coronavirus cases and deaths, impacting both staff and seniors living there. That's why visitor and volunteer restrictions have been in place for about 2 months now at retirement homes across the state.

So the Lake Gibson Village in Lakeland is reaching out to find pen pals for their seniors.
