A new type of shelter is up and running in Tampa. Tampa Hope Homeless shelter is modeled after the temporary homeless shelter set up during the height of the pandemic where small tents were used to house those in need. Maggie Rogers, the executive director for Catholic Charities Diocese of St. Petersburg joined GDL to discuss how the city and Catholic Charities came together to create the new shelter.
