Tampa Bay's rich and diverse art scene will be celebrated at an upcoming gala at The Straz! The works of over 40 visual and performing artists will be on display at the first ever Black Art Gala. Ahead of the January 21 event we had the pleasure of chatting with one of the participating artists, Noland Anderson. The inaugural Black Art Gala will take place Friday,, January 21st at the Straz Center. The VIP reception starts at 7pm and includes complimentary food and cocktails. This black tie event and award ceremony will feature both visual and performing artists and there is a philanthropic arm. A portion of the ticket sales will go to "Green Book of Tampa bay!"
