So, McDonald's is really trying change the image of the food that they sell. You remember not too long ago when the whole 'pink slime' controversy came about and how everyone believed that pretty much everything at McDonald's was just this ground up mystery meat. Well now they want people to really see what goes on and how their food is prepped.
In this video Grant Imahara does describe a pretty accurate account of how people think Chicken Nuggets are made:
"People think that you just come to this giant factory, you have a bin of chickens that you just put into a grinder, you grind 'em up and you pour that into a mold, and that's what you use to make a Chicken McNugget."
