ORLANDO, Fla. —
A little more than three weeks from the new ride’s debut, Universal Orlando dropped new images and a ride video for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
The roller coaster -- set in the Hogsmeade area of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter -- lets riders soar through an actual forest of 1,200 trees. Aboard motorbikes, like the one half-giant Hagrid uses in the films, riders will come face-to-face with magical creatures like Fluffy the three-headed dog, centaurs, pixies and Devil’s Snare.
Universal Orlando called the new ride its most highly-themed, immersive roller coaster yet. It also described the ride as a “story coaster.”

The Orlando park said coaster will have seven launches, a free-fall vertical drop and will launch riders 65 feet in the air at a more than 70-degree angle before dropping them backward.
Universal said the ride will be the longest roller coaster in Florida with more than 5,000 feet of track.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure opens June 13 at Islands of Adventure.
