TV tonight: Flash joins 'Supergirl,' 'Jane'

On the big screen, Superman and Batman are fighting. On the small screen, Supergirl and The Flash are bonding, yet another argument for the superiority of TV.

On the big screen, Superman and Batman are fighting. On the small screen, Supergirl and The Flash are bonding, yet another argument for the superiority of TV. And for its collegiality, as it isn’t often you see actors and characters from different networks — in this case, CBS and CW — join forces, even when the networks share a corporate bond and the shows share a DC connection. Still, what most likely matters more to viewers is the chance to see TV’s most buoyant superheroes share a story and to see two of its most delightful stars, Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist, share scenes.
