Traffic advice for One Direction concert

Tampa police have advice for parents taking concertgoers to the one Direction show at Raymond James Stadium.

Tampa, Florida -- The Tampa Police Department has several suggestions for parents and others dropping off and picking up people attending the One Direction concert Friday at Raymond James Stadium.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

Box office opened at 10 a.m. at the south end of the stadium.

Shows starts at 7:30 p.m. Estimated end time is 10:30 p.m.

Parking is $25. Lots open at 3 p.m.

Parents lounge area: Located at the northeast area of the stadium. Enter through the veranda door in the lower gallery that is near Gate B. The area is air conditioned, has restrooms and TVs. Food is available for purchase. The patio opens at 5:30 p.m. Inside area opens at 7 p.m.

Dropoff and pickup: Dropoffs and pickups will be allowed in the designated area only.

If you are headed north on Dale Mabry Highway, turn left on Tampa Bay Boulevard, toward Hillsborough Community College. Take the third entrance into HCC, and continue to the dropoff area.

If you are headed south on Dale Mabry, turn right on Tampa Bay Boulevard, toward Hillsborough Community College. Take the third entrance into HCC, and continue to the dropoff area.

If you are coming from the west, take Air Cargo Road, turn left onto Tampa Bay Boulevard and go around the roundabout onto Lois. Then take the first entrance into HCC and head to the dropoff area.

After the dropoff, you can park of exit the area.Parking is $25. You have access to the Parents Lounge.

For pickup, vehicle cannot arrive earlier than 8:30 p.m. Any arrivals to the pickup area after 9:30 p.m., might face significant delays.

Signs cannot be large than 24 by 24 inches. No wood or metal. Signs must be in good taste.

Only flexible glowsticks will be allowed.

Cameras mus be less than 12 inches long. No camera bags or video recorders.

There is free Wi-Fi, but the service might be low due to the number of users.

All bags will be searched and this will lead to delays getting into the stadium.
