TAMPA, Fla. — The Florida Aquarium’s colorful collection of aquatic wildlife and educational experiences just buzzed on a nationally known publication’s radar once again.
USA Today nominated the Florida Aquarium as the Best Aquarium for its 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards 2024 among several other aquariums in the country, according to its news release.
Travel experts choose aquariums based on research, and further narrow their choices to a final set of nominees. From there, it’s all up to readers to vote for aquariums that they think are most worthy of the top spot on the list.
The Florida Aquarium has placed among the best five times since the list’s inception in 2014, according to previous choice awards.
Last year, the aquarium placed 8th and has placed as high as 2nd place in 2019.
