WASHINGTON -- This week we stopped by the Mount Vernon Square Metro stop. It is home to Walter E. Washington Convention Center. There’s a good chance on any week there is some interesting or bizarre conference going on.
It’s not uncommon to see a group of IT professionals, followed by people dressed as Ninja Turtles. The convention center hosts dozens of events each year. The nearby neighborhood is marked as one of the up and coming areas of D.C.
