Beautiful People: Haylyn and Hadley Benton write and draw children's books for a good cause

Their books, including "Spotty The Curious Giraffe," can be discovered on Amazon.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Meet the dynamic duo of creativity, 13-year-old Haylyn Benton and her 7-year-old sister, Hadley. When they're not captivating audiences on stage, these two sisters are weaving enchanting stories as they write and illustrate children's books together.

For Haylyn, the joy of giving, whether through the smallest gestures or crafting entire books, is a passion that drives her.

The result of their collaborative efforts is the charming book, "Spotty The Curious Giraffe." The inspiration behind the story comes from Hadley's cherished childhood companion, a little stuffed giraffe named Spotty. Haylyn explained, "Spotty was actually Hadley's little stuffed giraffe that she had when she was little. It always is about crazy adventures and teamwork."

The creative spark didn't stop there. Samantha Plankgunn, another character from their imaginative world, emerged from a memorable trip to Disney World. Haylyn shared the amusing origin story, "Instead of getting the princess makeover, I went to Pirates of the Caribbean and got the pirate makeover. The pirate name they gave me is Samantha Plankgunn."

If you're eager to explore the imaginative world crafted by these talented sisters, their books, including "Spotty The Curious Giraffe," can be discovered on Amazon. Dive into their enchanting tales and join them on a journey where creativity knows no bounds.

For each book they sell, the sisters will donate 10% to charity.
