TAMPA, Fla. -- Congrats, Reggie!
The Tampa Association of Black Journalists honored 10News Anchor Reginald Roundtree for his work in journalism and efforts to educate the next generation of journalists of color.
Roundtree was honored with the Legacy Award. Other honorees were recognized, too, including Joyce Cotton, director of marketing and community partnership at WEDU/PBS TV; Amy Rettig, senior vice president of Community Engagements at Nielsen; and Gypsy Gallardo, publisher and editor-in-chief of The Power Broker magazine.
The organization held its annual Griot Drum Awards and Scholarship Banquet on Thursday at the Marriott Westshore in Tampa.
