TAMPA, Fla. — It’s why you may have been stuck in traffic along Dale Mabry Highway near Spruce Street in Tampa today. Football star Rob Gronkowski aka “Gronk” was working the drive-thru for the launch of Greenlane's second location.
It's said to offer fast, healthy and affordable salads, wraps and shakes — and every item on the menu is less than $10.
Greenlane opened its flagship location in South Tampa off Gandy Boulevard last year. A St. Pete location is in the works along 4th Street, as well.
Gronk spoke to 10 Tampa Bay's Sarah Rosario about his partnership with Greenlane.
“They came knocking on my door begging me to represent our new business model, Greenlane,” Gronk said. “They showed me the concept and I loved it because it fits my lifestyle. I'm an active guy. I still love to work out. I still love to do activities; I love to eat healthy, as well, and I'm always on the go.”
If you want to double the amount of protein or your portion, guests can ask to “Get it Gronked.”
