TAMPA, Fla. — Metallica, one of the best-selling heavy metal bands of all time, will be extending their record-breaking M72 World Tour into a third year, adding 21 North American shows from April to June 2025, according to a news release.

Two of those shows will be at Raymond James Stadium on Friday, June 6, and Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Officials noted that the M72 World Tour's 2025 itinerary for each show of Metallica's two-night stand in Tampa will feature entirely different setlists and support lineups. Other iconic metal acts such as Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies and Ice Nine Kills are reportedly supporting Metallica on this tour.

Two-night tickets for the tour's "No Repeat" weekends and tickets for single-night shows will go on sale Sept. 27 at 10 a.m., according to organizers. Fan club pre-sales begin Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. For more information on tickets and VIP packages, click here.

Since starting back in April 2023 in Amsterdam, Metallica's M72 World Tour has seen the band play to some 3 million fans, a press release says. In addition, a portion of the proceeds of every ticket sold go to local charities through the band's All Within My Hands Foundation.

Known for a slew of classic hits and heavy metal anthems, Metallica built its reputation through the 1980s and 1990s with songs like "Ride the Lightning," "One" "For Whom the Bell Tolls," "Enter Sandman" and "Nothing Else Matters."
