We are starting to think that time-travel is possible.
That is, after we saw this vintage photo which shows a man from what looks like the 19th century (with a very, very nice mustache) who looks exactly like Matthew McConaughey. No, really. We do mean exactly. Take a gander at the Oscar-winner.
And now feast your eyes on the old time-y dude, in a photo shared by Reddit user Sanders Parker on the site and on Imgur.
“The likeness is uncanny. It was too good not to share,” Parker told ABC News. “His name was Dr. Andrew Sanders, and he's also where I get my namesake from. Apparently he was the man.”
And before you cry foul or Photoshop, Parker swears the photo is 100% legit. He told ABC, “I know it's hard to believe in the photoshop age that this isn't altered, but it really is straight up original,” he said. “I think Redditors do pretty good detective work. They’d definitely find me out. And my family isn’t savvy enough to attempt that.”
Whether it's real or not (and we do hope it's real), it's a good argument for McConaughey to get a mustache. Because come on.
