Get ready for a spooky good time at Legoland's Brick-or-Treat

Halloween at Legoland Florida is shaping up to be a "bricktastic" celebration with the return of Brick-or-Treat for fans of all ages.

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — As fall officially begins this weekend, Halloween is just around the corner. If you're looking for a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit, Legoland Florida Resort has you covered with its annual Brick-or-Treat event.

Brick or Treat is perfect for families and kids of all ages who want to experience Halloween in a safe and not-so-spooky way.

According to Franceen Gonzales, the Park President of Legoland Florida Resort, "Families can come here in this really safe environment. The kids have a great time riding rides."

From now until October 27, the entire park transforms into a Halloween-themed wonderland. There are indoor and outdoor activities, including Lego building zones, trick-or-treating stations, and meet-and-greet opportunities with Lego characters that only come out once a year.

"They’re also going to get the chance to have food that's made specially only for Brick-or-Treat. It’s themed, it’s fun," Gonzales said.

This year, Brick-or-Treat features something new and exciting: a first-of-its-kind nightly drone show combined with fireworks. Gonzales recalled how her team pitched the idea.

"They came to me and said, 'We want to do a drone show. And not just a drone show but a drone show with fireworks.' I said, 'Don’t they do those separately?' She said, 'Exactly. This will be the first time you see drones with fireworks together.' And I said, 'Look, I appreciate vision, let’s do it.'"

With staggered times throughout the day, guests can snap photos with characters across the park, so make sure you arrive on time — each character stays for about 20 minutes!

Here’s a breakdown of the meet-and-greet times and locations for each character:

  • Lego Zombie Pirate in Shipwreck Alley (Pirate’s Cove): 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm.

In addition to character interactions, guests can participate in themed builds that add to the park’s festive spirit. This year, the NEW LEGO Pumpkin Build takes center stage in MINILAND USA. Visitors can craft their own Lego pumpkins and add them to a special pumpkin patch located along the walkway to Pirate’s Cove.

For those looking for more interactive fun, two Superbrick Build areas will keep creative hands busy. Build a piece of a giant Lego sculpture:

  • Cobra Superbrick Build in the Land of Adventure: 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
  • Scarecrow Superbrick Build in Duplo Valley: 11:00 am - 5:30 pm.

Brick-or-Treat happens every weekend until Halloween, and all activities are included with the price of admission. So, if you're looking to get into the Halloween spirit without the fright, head over to Legoland Florida Resort for a memorable experience.
