Big things are happening on Jeopardy.
23-year-old Matt Jackson won his 11th game of Jeopardy on October 9, and has already amassed $289,411 in prize money.
The paralegal from Washington D.C. has already qualified for the upcoming Tournament of Champions. Jackson says he pumps himself up for the show by repeating the mantra "I am not throwing away my shot. I am not throwing away my shot," something he took away from seeing the Broadway musical Hamilton.
When he found out he was going to get a chance to compete he also prepared by deactivating his Facebook account and reading books like Ken Jennings' Brainiac and Bob Harris' Prisoner of Trebekistan.
