TAMPA, Fla. — The 10th annual Tampa Pride parade is set for Saturday, March 23, in Ybor City. From the parade itself to performances and vendors, there likely will be something for everyone.
Here is the information you need ahead of this weekend:
What's Tampa Pride?
Tampa Pride is a nonprofit organization with advocates, community leaders and volunteers who organize year-round events celebrating members of the LGBTQ+ community in the Tampa Bay area.
Their main event is the Tampa Pride Diversity Parade which happens every spring. General admission to the event is free all day.
Where is the Tampa Pride parade?
The parade will start near the corner of Nuccio Parkway and East 7th Avenue and continue east down 7th Avenue to North 20th Street. It kicks off at 4 p.m.
Tampa Pride events
There are multiple events on Saturday encompassing the Tampa Pride Festival starting at 10:45 a.m. There is a main stage with performances every hour from noon to 4 p.m.
There is also another stage indoors at the Cuban Club where visitors can get a drink or enjoy the A/C while watching live entertainment every hour. This is for ages 18 and up.
If you get hungry, you can visit the Food Truck Lane along 9th Avenue from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Also on that street will be a vendor festival and artisan’s fair with local vendors and nonprofits sharing community resources from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
At night, starting at 7 p.m., there will be an after-party at the Cuban Club with artist performances and a laser light show ending at 11 p.m.
There is also a VIP Sponsors Party on Thursday night that is 18 and up. Tickets are $30 at the door and there will be food and entertainment.
