(USATODAY.com) - Discovery Channel seems to be appealing to nerds of the LARP variety with its new series. It's called Big Giant Swords. We bet you can guess what it's about.
The show follows "Irish Mike" Craughwell, a welder who used to build bridges for work, and make swords (and YouTube videos) for fun. Now, he's trying to be a full-time swordsmith.
"Life is too short to do something you hate, so I'm going to try and make a living and support my family by making and selling giant swords," he says in the show preview.
