As if Star Wars fans haven’t had enough excitement recently – to all you baby Yoda fans talking, am I – Walt Disney World Resort’s newest attraction Rise of the Resistance officially opens tomorrow.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge debuted earlier this year, and now the multiple ride system is here and providing an experience unlike anything at Disney’s Orlando park. A sneak peek was provided to several Disney fans, celebrities, influencers and media/journalists earlier this week.
You can see our producer’s review of the ride here.
And, as you eagerly wait for the ride to open on Dec. 5, in the meantime you can live vicariously through the social media previews from celebrities and influencers who still have the magic of Disney, and a galaxy far, far away, in their hearts.
Here’s a few celebrities and influencers who made an appearance to Galaxy’s Edge:
- John Stamos and wife Caitlin McHugh Stamos shared their ride experience on their Instagram stories. Caitlin is a huge Disney fan who basically lives, breathes and dresses in all-things Disney.
- Josh Gad who is no other than the voice of Frozen’s beloved snowman Olaf, shared a post after his Stormtrooper encounter saying in an Instagram feed post: “#RiseOfTheResistance is quite simply the most impressive ride I have ever been on. I do not think people are ready for the scale, the scope, the surprises & the immersiveness of this soon-to-be iconic attraction. Folks, it’s a game changer.”
- Daymond John shared a rider’s perspective view on his Instagram story.
- Theme park journalist Carlye Wisel posted a selfie with Stormtroopers, who surprisingly didn’t capture her, while sharing her thoughts about how the attraction was more than a ride but an experience.
- Orlando influencer Daniele Chevalier Carneiro posted a photo of her waiting in line where she looks as if she is almost floating… maybe from excitement or lack of gravity in space?
- Aaron Sagers posted a selfie of him all geared up in nothing but Rise of the Resistance swag as he shared what the ride was like for him on Instagram stories.
- And, other celebs like Neil Patrick Harris, Megan Fox and Kickthepj had fun in the iconic park as well.
