Shannon Clowe joined 10 Tampa Bay as a multiskilled journalist in May 2021.
She is from Westchester County in New York, but she has fully adapted to Florida.
Shannon made the move to Tampa from Fort Myers. That's where she worked as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor for WBBH/WZVN.
During her three years in Southwest Florida, Shannon covered a variety of impactful stories including – our state's water crisis, hurricanes and the coronavirus pandemic.
As a New York native, she started her career in 2015 at ABC News in New York City. Shannon produced stories for all ABC affiliates.
After a year of working behind the scenes, she took her talents to the mountains of West Virginia to pursue her dream to be a news reporter. While in Southern West Virginia, Shannon was the weekend anchor and a multimedia journalist for the FOX/CBS affiliate, WVNS TV.
It took Shannon two years to realize she needed a break from shoveling snow. She's happy to trade her snow scraper in for sunglasses and now call the Tampa Bay area home.
She lives here with her two cats and jokes, she's the kind of cat lady who likes to get out and explore. Follow her on social media and send her your best recommendations! Fair warning, her social media comes with cat content. You'll learn quickly she adores her cats.
She is excited to be a part of our community and tell impactful stories that matter to you.
