I was born in San Diego, and spent most of my childhood in the midwest, both the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois.
I began my meteorology career at Florida's News Channel in Tallahassee. My next stop was WSVN in Miami. I then moved to California where I was the chief meteorologist at KEYT in Santa Barbara. I also worked at KCBS/KCAL in Los Angeles and WPBF in West Palm Beach.
I have earned the American Meteorology Society Seal of Approval and the National Weather Association Seal of Approval.
I love spending time at the beach, participating in sprint triathlons, scuba diving, and golf. I'm happiest when I'm with family and am the proud Aunt of Ben and Mia.
I love the beautiful beaches, the warm Gulf water, and the gorgeous sunsets. Tampa Bay provides the entertainment venues of a major city, including 3 professional sports teams, but still has a friendly small town feel and maintains that "old Florida" charm.
