HOLMES BEACH, Fla. — The owner of a missing prosthetic ear has finally been identified, police say.
The ear was found this week on Manatee Public Beach, and two days later Holmes Beach police say the ear's owner has been identified because of the department's Facebook post.
Police said it's not uncommon for people to lose or misplace their belongings on the beach, though this was probably one of the more unique lost and found items lately.
