TAMPA, Fla. - Teenage patients at the Children's Medical Center at Tampa General Hospital were still able to enjoy prom night thanks to a Pediatric Prom that was held on Friday.
"This being the season of high school proms, TGH didn’t want the kids who were hospitalized or going through rehab to miss out on such a special time in their lives," the hospital said in a statement. "Volunteer students from Blake High School and hospital volunteers hosted this special night for the patients - both inpatient and outpatient."
The Hollywood-themed prom was complete with a red carpet entry, a DJ, games, dinner and donated prom attire.
