Pasco Co. team assists in search for missing Army Reserve solider

LAND O' LAKES, Fla. - Members of the Pasco County Deployment Team are headed to Starke to assist in the search for a missing U.S. Army Reserve solider.

The soldier, a member of the Alabama Army Reserve, was taking part in a land navigation course at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center when the soldier was reported missing at about 11 a.m. Wednesday, Pasco County Fire Rescue said.

The exercise is part of the Basic Leader Course at the camp's Regiment Regional Training Institute, which hosts Army National Guard and Army Reserve Soldiers from across the country.

The soldier's name was not released due to the ongoing search.
