Two-alarm fire destroys Holiday home

Seven Holiday residents are without a place to stay after a two-alarm fire Saturday afternoon, Pasco County Fire Rescue said.

The American Red Cross is aiding the three adults and four children who live at the home.

Seven Holiday residents are without a place to stay after a two-alarm fire Saturday afternoon, Pasco County Fire Rescue said.

Crews were called to the house in the 4100 block of Oakfield Avenue about 4:25 p.m., where they found the single-family home engulfed in flames.

One adult and two children were in the home at the time, but were able to escape unharmed.

It took firefighters about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.

Three adults and four children live at the home, and the American Red Cross is aiding them.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
