ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A house fire killed one person Wednesday afternoon in St. Petersburg.
St. Petersburg Fire Rescue says the fire was contained to one room.
There were two people inside at the time of the fire, fire officials say. One person died and the other was treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation.
Fire Rescue crews said the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
