At least one person was hospitalized with an injury in an apparent gas explosion in a Lutz home on Thursday, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said.
When fire crews arrived at the home in the 3400 block of Melissa County Way, they found a garage door, windows and an exterior door were blown out.
Crews extinguished flames and sent one resident to the hospital with burns.
Several interior walls were damaged, officials said.
