CLEARWATER, Fla. — A man who was pulled from the water by Clearwater Fire Rescue and police department Wednesday afternoon has died.
The call came in just before 2 p.m., according to an official spokesperson.
A man, later identified as Nicholas Baldwin, 25, was pulled from the water and given CPR from behind the Shephard's Beach Resort on Gulfview Boulevard.
Baldwin worked with the jet ski rental business behind the resort. His coworkers noticed he was missing and pulled him back to the sand after seeing him out in the water.
He was taken to Morton Plant Hospital where he later died.
