BRANDON, Fla. — The search is on for a suspect in a deadly shooting overnight during a house party.
It happened around midnight Saturday at a home on Red Fox Lane, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say a man got into some sort of argument with the victim and, at some point, gunshots were fired. The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The shooter got out of the area, the sheriff's office says. It's believed the home was being rented as an Airbnb at the time of the shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call deputies at 813-247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
