GIBSONTON, Fla. — Hillsborough County Fire Rescue put out a serious fire that left a house significantly damaged Saturday afternoon in Gibsonton.
Crews responded after receiving multiple calls of heavy smoke and flames from the home, the agency said in a news release. The first crew to arrive on the scene found a fire with several vehicles and a mobile home engulfed in flames.
"Thanks to an aggressive and well-coordinated attack, our crews brought the fire under control in under an hour," crews stated in the release.
No residents or firefighters were injured, but investigators are still looking into what caused the fire.
