TAMPA, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol said a dump truck fire caused major backups Wednesday morning on Interstate 275 in Tampa.
Troopers said the dump truck was carrying metal debris when it caught fire on the interstate near Kennedy Boulevard. No one was injured, troopers said.
The highway patrol said the cleanup continues and authorities are asking drivers to use caution when traveling through the area.
